Tell us a little bit about your company and its foundation.

R.E. Coogan Heating, Inc. was founded in 1995 by the current President and Owner, Robert E. Coogan, Jr. We are a local Rhode Island based company servicing residential and commercial customers.

We offer a full range of plumbing, heating, and cooling for both residential and commercial customers on existing or new construction. Our motto is "We strive to help you see the difference. Servicing one customer at a time."

We treat our customers with exceptional customer service and satisfaction.

What is central air conditioning and how does it work?

Central air conditioning is a cooling unit, which also acts as a dehumidifier.

Are all houses capable of having central air installed?

About 95% of all homes are capable of having central A/C Installed, whether it be ducted in, or ductless (mini splits), or just adding to the existing units.

What is the typical price range of having one installed?

Typically pricing is based on the square footage of your home, which allows us to estimate how many tons will be require to cool your home, and whether or not duct work is involved.

How long is the typical installation process?

Timing depends on exactly what the entire job entails. It could range from one and a half days, to several days, depending on the job scope.
