Momentum Fitness Improves Physical Strength And Endurance In Providence, Rhode Island

By Paul Rowe

Trainers at Momentum Fitness practice and promote their idea of "strength through movement." Through improving mobility, stability, and flexibility of movement, members at Momentum experience improved strength. The simple, accessible philosophy of Momentum Fitness dictates that daily activity and strength training are essential for physical and mental wellbeing.

At Momentum, people's goals are assessed, and a personally customized plan is then laid out and pursued with maximum efficiency. The people of Providence have waved goodbye to misdirected fitness regiments in favor of personalized care. Only through this intimate, directed program can they experience the full potential of their own gathered, sustained momentum.

"For each new client, we start by assessing current fitness level and discussing what they hope to achieve through personal training," Momentum co-owner and personal trainer Michelle Struckholz said. "Based on our assessment we help our clients set personalized goals and provide guidance and customized training programs for attaining those goals."

As clients begin their paths to fitness, Momentum's exceptionally trained instructors provide enthusiastic motivation, encourage consistency, and ensure that workouts are carried out at the proper level of intensity. Consistency and intensity are key factors in both weight loss and physical fitness.

Using a personal trainer ensures that clients are held accountable to their goals. Additionally, creating a place where people feel both safe and respected has primed clients of all ages and body types for the ultimate fulfillment of their true potential.

By creating a space where everyone feels comfortable, Momentum eliminates barriers and excuses for not working out, drawing in more people by the day, enabling the people of Providence to focus on improving their health and fitness in a welcoming atmosphere. Improving lives in such a way is incredibly rewarding for Struckholz and her co-owner and personal trainer Rob Daly.

"Generally speaking, I enjoy helping clients feel better and achieve their personal fitness goals. I like working one-on-one best, developing personal relationships and tailoring individual workouts for clients," Struckholz said. "More specifically, I enjoy improving clients' form, watching their confidence improve, seeing their posture change, and hearing stories of how working out at Momentum has helped them in some way outside of the gym."

Like Struckholz, Daly enjoys the personal connections he forges with clients. Daly firmly believes that these connections define Momentum Fitness, helping the fitness center maintain is stalwart success.

"By establishing strong, long-term relationships with clients, I can help them continue to succeed as their fitness goals evolve," Daly said. "There is nothing better than seeing a client meet established goals and set and strive to achieve new ones."

When a client meets a goal and forthwith sets a new one, momentum is achieved. Through maintaining momentum, moving from one achievement to the next one step at a time, physical and mental wellbeing are attained in Providence.
